Description
Founded by Oliver Hughes & Liam Lahart, the Porterhouse Brew Co. are Ireland's pioneers of craft beer. Opening Ireland's first brewpub in the heart of Dublin, Temple Bar. Nowadays with a chain of successful bars in Dublin, London and New York the company is now producing from a state of the art brewery located in Glasnevin, Dublin. The expansion to the 120 barrel brewing facility in 2017 helps service our own bars but provides quality beer outside of the bars to consumers throughout Ireland while exporting to over 20 markets globally. The Porterhouse Brew Co. is proud to be a fully run independent brewery with a focus on consistency, quality and innovation.

Color marrón oscuro, no llega a ser negra. Espuma blanca y jabonosa de buena retención.
Aromas a malta tostada, algo de especias y una nota final a mar.
El sabor en la misma línea, un punto torrefacto que aporta un ligero amargor, con una nota final salada (a marisco de concha).
Cuerpo medio/bajo y poca carbonatación, en boca pierde algo de punch.
Cerveza interesante y diferente, pero muy ligera.

50cl bottle. Pours dark, almost black, with fine cream foam. Aroma is of coffee, sea salt. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is roasty bitter. Final is fairly dry.

Draft at Beerheadz Lincoln. Jet black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are roasted malty coffee slight bitter to dry finish. rich body.

500ml bottle after dinner at Southsea Village. Shared with Finn. Rustic-black body, covering fawn coloured head, upper part lacing. Inviting roasted malty smell, chocolate scent. Caramel and chocolate flavours followed by a mid-dry, roasted malty end. Medium bodied. Pretty good. (Southsea 18.10.2022).

--Keg at Porterhouse Temple Bar, Dublin. -- Black, firm creamy head. Aroma of licorice and mint chocolate. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Lots of pepparmint and dark chocolate, some coffee. Mid bitter finish.

Delt med Rune. Ultramørk gyldenbrun / svart. Lavt kremaktig mokkafarget skum. Litt lacing. Behagelig lakrisaroma. Smaken røstet malt & sjokolade. Lett tørr bitter avslutning.

# 3234; 10/2022. Roasty, coffee aroma. Clear redish brown body, persistant lacing tany head. Creamy, coffee, smooth, some light sweetness, earthy. Very good irish stout. 0,3 l, draught, craft beer bar, Vienna, Austria.
