Canned, from Systembolaget. Hazy golden, mid sized head. Fruity grapefruit aroma. Quite sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruiy with some syrup and white bread. Mild mango and grapefruit. Low to medium bitterness.

Deep mahogany brown topped with a beige cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is caramel, dark malts, toasted brown sugar, fruit cake mix.
Taste comprises dark malts, toffee, spice, mellow oak tones, herb, vinous, fruit cake, brown bread, faint smoke.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close.
Okay sipper if a little simplistic and lacking depth for a BA BW.

Can thanks to Wolf. A light haze on this deep amber brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Fairly smooth palate, decent fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Smooth malts, a little creamy sweetness and a fair bit of slightly boxy and bitterish caramel. An obvious smoky streak throughout. Ripe pruney and datey fruits on the back end, pretty submissive, as is a little oak induced vanilla. Airy smooth finish. A fairly bitterish barleywine but, as my palate adjusted, I got into its richness.
