Cask at the brewpub. Hazy nut brown. The first pint we were served poured flat from the bottom of a keg. The second pint were from a newly opened keg which came out with good amounts of naural carbonation. It featured a rich pineapple/mango aroma, Sweet and well rounded with slight caramemelly backdrop to the Amarillo hops. Finishes with lingering bitterness. A freshening American style bitter.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear amber, small head. Spicy grassy nose. Dryish with clean mouthfeel. There’s grainy malt and bread, salty and quite crisp with grassy/spicy hops. Finishes with medium bitterness. Has more power than elegance.

Draught at Eskilstuna Ölkultur, Eskilstuna. Dark mahogany with small head. There’s coffee and wood in the nose. Fairly sweet with clean rounded mouthfel. It shows of lots of chocolate and coffee, as well as some molasses. Salty finish with some tar and licorice. Good beer, almost leaning more towards porter than brown ale.

Bottled at Eskilstuna Ölkultur, Eskilstuna. Cloudy amber, average head. Dominated by buttery malt. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Low hop rate - some light salty bitterness. The clean mouthfeel prevents the beer from getting much flavour depth.

Draught at Söderbärke Mikroölfestival. Amber colour, rich head. Aroma of caramel and soap. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Firmly malty, but not providing the depth the better German oktoberfests do. Salty, rather hoppy finish. Very quaffable, but the crystal malt character seem somewhat out of place.

[Draught at Old Eskil Ölkultur, Eskilstuna] Pours clear orange amber with creamy head. Medium intensity grapefruity aroma. Dryish with cridp, clean mouthfeel. Lightly caramelly malt character. The hops appear to be less extrovert than in most American Pale Ales, but evident nontheless. Lightly peachy finish with above medium bitterness. It’s always good when a first beer from a new brewery is this flawless.
