Description
Between 2011 and 2013, the adventure of the Brasseurs du Grand Paris was written on the 5th floor (no elevator) of a building in Levallois when Fabrice (a Breton who became Levalloisien) and Anthony (an American who became Parisian) met, both passionate about craft beers. Initially the Brasseurs du Grand Paris were nomadic brewers but in September 2016, we left our respective jobs and moved to St Denis to start setting up our brewery there. A 20 HL brewing room, 6 40 HL fermenters, 2 80HL fermenters, and an isobar packaging line to start our Dyonisian adventure. The first beer was brewed in St Denis in February 2017. Thus the Brasseurs du Grand Paris became the Brasserie du Grand Paris.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy amber. Glossy topped, cream coloured head, that stays the duration. Nose has well old IPA, frankly. Fusty and sweet malts. Hint of cardboard. Some candied peel. Some caramel. Taste is sweet and light, fruity bitter. Sticky mouthfeel. Citrusy bitter finish. Oof.

Bouteille 75cl, BB 15/11/2017, merci Will.

Bottle at home. Black with a it fizzy light brown head. Lots of roasted malts, vanilla, licorice, black berries. The cocoa is a bit in the background but still present. Light earthy, dried plums. Over medium sweet with medium bitterness that doesn’t last long in the finish. Almost full bodied. Decent RIS.

Taste comprises caramel malt, sticky Tropicana, pine, grapefruit, sweet malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, juicy hop rinse in a semi drying close. Decent enough easy drinking DIPA.
