A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and smoke. The flavor is sweet with notes of smoke, malt, caramel, and alcohol, leading to a bitter finish.

750ml bottle. Pours bright yellow with a good head. Grass, funk, peach, cherry, rose, sharp lemon, lavender. Lovely balance of flowers and fruit, could take a bit more cherry for me, lovely stuff.

On tap at Brother’s Beer. Pours very pale and fizzy. Aroma is perfumed lemon, with the thai basil noticeable (though I’m not sure I’d have known that’s what it was without the label). Flavour is delicate perfumed citrus, again with the light spiciness from the herbs beautifully rounding the beer off. Palate is tight and fizzy. Very good.
