[BOTTLED] Pours dark red-ish brown with a big, foamy head. Loads of different spices in the aroma, it is hard pick them out but they are all in balance with each other. Flavour is likewise quite spicy, yet smooth and balanced. Long bitter finish.

Bottle, 6.2%. Quite spicy aroma, cardamum. Very dark brown colour, seems hazy. The flavour also has a lot of cardamum. Roasted flavour, good and spicy. Hint of ginger?

Small brown head. Black opaque body is barely translucent red in places. Spicy roasty taste of cardamom, cloves, ginger, and god knows what else. Dry roasty licorice and chocolate taste with, again, cardamom, cloves, etc etc. Mid-bodied. Dry burnt straw and spice aftertaste with chocolatey notes. Very, very nice. (0.5l bottle from gr0ve.)

Bottle from Systembolaget. Aroma is roasted and spicy (primary cinamon). I can´t take it seriously, this is just a bad beer hidden in spices (which gives a nice smell).

50 cL bottle. Pours unclear dark brown with a diminished white head. Spiced of cardemomme and cloves. Sweet caramel and chocolate malty, solid spice note following. Solid cardemomme and clove spiced into the finish with a nice bitterness into the far finish.

Bottle. Brown colour. Small head. Smells inviting of christmas spices. Coffee. Mild spicy flavor. This beer is thin and watery. It has no real depth. Its a bad ale with some christmas spices added to it.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 26 Sep 2008) Brownish black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, spicy, roasted nose with dark wort bread, raisins, clove and cardamom. Malty, roasted, slightly nutty taste with notes of spices (clove, cinnamon, cardamom) and dark bread. Tasty, spicy and nice beer.

Draught@SBWF2008. Deep amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is lots of spices, mild coffee and some mild caramellish notes. Flavour is spices and hops in a nice balance with some mild nuttyness and fruityness also helping out the balance.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Very dark brown, creamy beige head. Herbal nutmeg aroma. Sweet and a bit caramelly medium bodied with quite intense heavy spicyness - cinnamon and nutmeg predominantly. Drier finish with herbal bitterness.
