Can shared at Anti-Carnavalstasting 2026. Clear pale yellow color, small white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, sweetish, somewhat odd, a bit blossomy. Hard to describe imo. Not impressed.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: pale yellow color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: grassy/funky/earthy/pine needles, wet dried cement and some hay features which mesh with a super light malt base
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together to meet semi-sweet with a funky tone; finishes semi-dry and funky to earthy
Texture: light bodied; sessionable; some smoothness but also some dryness
Overall: might be a very nice beer next to some halibut steak. I believe I could return to this.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: murky orange cardboard color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: peaches, apricots, bananas and pineapple-y hop scents with a nice clean malt bill
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas together favorably sweet then with more sips a blended bittersweet quality; finishes more pineapple-y and peachy
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; soft along the tongue; nice low carb, some really light hop bitterness
Overall: pretty nicely done DIPA I could return to.

Appearance: nice looking cloudy orange color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace

Flavor: creamy bittersweet juiciness through the prior noted aromas; nice finish of the peaches and grapefruit
Texture: medium bodied - maybe a touch under, sessionable; nice low carb, pretty smooth along the tongue, mild creaminess
Overall: a very nicely done NEIPA I would return to.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: yellow with some transparency to it and a one and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: lemony tones with some yeasty/doughy tones (somewhat Belgian-like), light clove, sweet grass,, some earthiness and hay
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together in a semi-sweet to semi-spicy sort of way; mild finish of lemon, hay and yeastiness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness but also some of the coriander comes across a bit more assertive than other witbiers I've had
Overall: not a bad beer, I believe I could have this again.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: semi-golden color with a subtle transparency to it and a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: citrusy, piney and grapefruity hops up front with a nice clean malt base
Flavor: bittersweet through the prior noted aromas; mild finish of those hops and malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness along the tongue; subtle crisp hop semi-assertiveness
Overall: I'd say this was a pretty nicely done West coast styled IPA I would return to.

Can to chalice.
Appearance: semi-murky golden yellow color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: white pepper, peppercorn; white grapes, smooth semi-sweet earthy tones; sweet freshly cut grass, candied pomme-like fruits, slight lemony tones, biscuity malts underneath
Flavor: wraps the prior noted aromas to a semi-spicy yet a sweet sort of blend; finishes somewhat peppery and with the white grapes
Texture: medium bodied - hmmm, might be a touch under; leaning to be a sipper; comes across somewhat spritzy, guessing the carb was a bit too high in this
Overall: to me I don't entirely see this as a true Belgian tripel but some sort of Belgian strong golden ale that might be a better fit for this but the brewer says this is a tripel and well, it's not a bad beer I'm just saying don't look at this at face value. I'd still come back to this preferably for me.

Can from CBC Liquors, Westford. Cloudy yellow, tons of sparkle, ample head with excellent retention and nice webs of lacing. Aroma is strong pine and limey citrus. Taste is strong, dank pineapple rind, a hint of rum, pine. Smooth, creamy texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Hint of something different in aroma turns into something very nice in taste. These guys are always quality!

This 16 oz can came to me from Half Time somewhat recently. A Belgian glass ready, yeah, whatever it takes. The view is a milky, cloudy orange-yellow body finished with a there-and-gone head of fully white foam. I smell some citrus, some tropical and anything else gets crowded out. A drink and I’m surprised that there’s a tilt towards WC style, to me that is a positive thing. OJ, pineapple, pine, white bread, meadow, cardboard, malt and a nice hops presence.including a small but obvious bitterness. I was ready to beat up on the beer for being a hybrid pretender but plenty of old school here.
