A4 event draught, 9/6/25.
Clear, seemingly unfiltered, bright copper-honey-golden. Small, white head, low retention.
Crusty bread and light marmalade with evident, crisp lager yeast. Clean, bright and approachable.
Soft with chewy wheat textures and gentle malt sweetness (honey, sponge cake). Gains a touch of citrusy bitterness and a bit of bread, but remains very soft for the most part. Could use a touch more bitterness to balance the chewy, big wheat character. Very clean and malty, though kind of more ale-like.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Light bodied pale malts, a slightly thin but, enjoyable pale malts, a good creamy sweetness. Big punchy Sabro, bloody hell, big coconut cream and mildly ripe pineapple. Soft cooling pine and a little hop spice. Smooth finish. Bloody marvellous, Sabro is a magnificent hop but, recently HBC1019 had taken some of those aspects, added it's own and, quite rightly, said 'look at me'. But here, Sabro dominates and does so wonderfully. Can't think of a better Sabro beer in the last few years. Super!

Armsby draught, 8/14/25.
Moderately hazy, pale golden-blinde. Small, fluffy, white head.
Lemony fruit salad. Hint of coconut, earth, white wine and big mineral. Round and clean, bright. Soft, oaty, biscuity malts gently balance.
Big lemon-lime with a zesty bitterness, good fluffy goat-like texture and good attenuation. White wine, mineral, moderate mineral and lingering lime zest with a hint of coconut. Snappy, zesty, clean and polished.

16oz can from Tavour. Clear copper pour, minimal head fades away. Nutty, earthy aroma, malty. Taste is subdued, malty, nutty, almost bland. I was hoping for better on this style.
