50cl bottle from a Rimi Hypermarket in Latvia. Pours hazy amber to copper coloured with a modest, off-white head. Mild malty with yeasty, fruity and some herbal notes, hints of citrus and wood. Moderate sweet with messy flavours and a moderate bitterness. A bit strange, but rather drinkable in the end.

Bottle. This has been on my shelves for a while, so I can’t remember exactly where I bought it. Definitely in Riga, probably Rimi or Stockmann. Pours a nice clear golden amber, with a vigorous white frothy head, which doesn’t dissipate. A lot of carbonation at the start, but this dies down to normal levels. A really strong nose, with apples, pine resin and Turkish delight. Nice sharp clear taste with plenty of fruit flavours, banana, pineapple and pears, and hops coming through later. Pleasant aftertaste of citrus. Very nice but not really an IPA, not hoppy enough for that.
