0.33l bottle from #15 shared with The Tasting Crew, courtesy of the brewery I beleive. This is a mild cloudy darker orange one with a small sidesticking just off-white head on the top. Mild aroma. Soft floral, hints of biscuits. All in all quite a mild one. It's somewhat thin, not directly watery but still quite thin oily in the mouth and it's about average on the carbonation. Quite dry in the taste. A little bit of papery tanins. Mild herbal almost. Doesn't really give me all that much this to be honest. Don't think it's a bad bottle cause the other guys around the table seems to like it. Guess I'm just not a huge fan of the genre today. 30.09.2015

Bottle. Courtesy of the brewery. A hazy, dark golden beer with micro-floaties and a nice off-white head. Tropical, peachy aroma with pine cones and resin overpowering the malts. It’s quite bitter on the palate, full to medium bodied with a nice carbonation. Peach, mango, orange and mango in the flavor, leaving little room for the malts, but they are there in the far back. Lasting piney, citrus zest-ish finish. Tasteful, easy drinkable and quenching, would have loved to taste it straight from the bottling line. 160709

330 ml bottle from Meny Grim. Unclear golden orange body with a huge, fluffy and lacing white head. Lively carbonation. Aroma of mild, pale malt dominated by grapefruit with a hint of pine. Feels very refreshing in the nose, and that was confirmed by tasting it. Fresh fruity, mostly grapefruit, balancing mild malt and good bitterness. Medium body and long lasting, refreshing aftertaste with grapefruit, citric fruit and bitterness. The high carbonation doesn’t feels wrong in this case, I feel it works perfect with the grapefruit. A very nice session beer in the landscape between APA and session IPA. I guess it’s benefits from been sampled fresh, but as for now it’s one of the better I have tasted within its style.

Bottle. It pours a hazy golden-orange body under a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Some curtains. The aroma is mostly on the fruity side, with some notes of the malts in the back. Orange, grapefruit and some mango, with freshly mown grass showing up as the beer gets a bit warmed up. It’s a tad heavy on the carbonation, but not in an annoying way, with a full to medium body and it’s also quite dryish on the palate. Grapefruit, orange and mango notes, and a good dash of fresh grass in the flavor, with some pale malts building a biscuity backdrop. Nice bitterness too, lasting for a good while. An honest and quaffable beer that doesn’t stand out from the crowd in any way, but it should be a good company for the famous burgers from the cafe in Ravnedalen. 160703
