Shared bottle at DSJT at Cardinal 08.11.15. Clear copper. Persistent beige head and lacing. Aroma of vomit and brittle - with the latter taking over from the first. Taste is better, with caramel and brittle. Quite dry.

330 ml bottle. Clear amber with a huge, creamy, long lasting tan head. A bit weak in aroma, malt, caramel, bread and spicy yeast. Flavor is medium sweet malt, slightly fruity, bread, hint of milk chocolate, slightly spicy with a faint hint of piny hops and moderate bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Feels a bit boring in the start, but there is something here. No problem to finish my bottle but glad I didn’t invest in the big family 2 liter bottle.

On tap @ Både &. Dark brown, almost black body with a nice, dense beige head. Strong and pleasant aroma of dark malt, bread, biscuit and red berries, slightly acidic. Flavor has a nice, pleasant sweetness from a combination of dark malt and dry fruit, some bread, moderate roasted, red, slightly acidic berries and fine balanced bitterness. Full bodied and long lasting aftertaste. So nice, so nice, has definitively has benefit of some storage this one.

On tap @ Både & (old rating). Slightly hazy golden body with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma of pale malt, hint of caramel, refreshing citric fruit, grapefruit and some Belgian fruity yeast. Flavor is medium sweet pale malt, fruity like aroma with some yeast and balanced bitterness. Medium body and decent aftertaste. Nice and quaffable, nothing outstanding really but a fine session ale.
