Description
Silver Moon is proud to be the 3rd oldest brewery in Bend. Using only the finest hops and grains, and a relentless dedication to craft. But don’t let that stop you from drinking it from a hole you punch in its side, we don’t judge. #StellarBeer

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: deep amber color with a slight transparency to it, two finger white foamy head dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy pulpiness and tangerines (as if they threw the whole thing in - the pulp, the rind); mild blend of caramel/toffee malts to biscuity malts
Flavor: combines all the prior noted aromas together fairly sweet initially then does end up coming about to some balance and being fairly bittersweet; finishes very tangerine forward
Texture: light to medium bodied, some sessionability to it; some smoothness along the tongue and the tangerine rind bitterness shapes the harshness on the tongue
Overall: not bad for what it is, I mean there's not a ton of "flavoured IPA's" that get a lot of love out there, right? So I'll somewhat gentle with the score as I'll dream about being on some beach somewhere sipping my next one of these.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: semi-glossy burnt yellow to almost orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated and stuck nicely to my glass.
Aroma: some citrusy fruity hop notes over top of a nice clean malt bill
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together fairly bright and bittersweet, mild juicy tone to it. Finishes citrusy and semi-juicy
Texture: light to medium bodied with a fine sessionability to it, nice low carb, nice smoothness to this with some juicy vibes rolling along
Overall: so far in my beer experience; I'd say this is the closest beer from the West coast getting it closer to the actual New England style. I'd return to this.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark burnt amber color with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: piney/resinous to citrusy hop character melding with some clean caramel/toffee malts
Flavor: starts bitter then becomes bittersweet with more sips, ended up being a fairly nice blend with a crisp finish of pine
Texture: light to medium bodied, some sessionability to it; some smoothness on the tongue but also some hop bitterness tones
Overall: I believe I get it - it's a Northwestern styled IPA and I would come back to this.

Can to mug.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated slowly to leave moderate lace
Aroma: huge amount of roasty malts and lots of chocolate tones, subtle coffee tones and a touch of toast
Flavor: previously mentioned aromas mesh bittersweetly and roasty with a mild roasty to chocolatey aftertaste
Texture: almost medium bodied but just a touch under, mostly a sipper, some dryness on my tongue, dry chocolatey finish
Overall: I'd say this was a nicely done American styled stout worthy of coming back to.

Can at the DC Beer August Share. Poured a hazy golden-yellow. Flavor was citrus and lemon with a super creamy mouthfeel. A smooth and pleasant hazy IPA.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is mixed tropicals. Med body. Flavor is citrus, melon, earth, pine. Seems a bit undry, but nicely bitter, and the flavor is nice.
