31/10 0.75 l bottle. It poured clear amber body with quite good, oily legs. True honey is predominant in its aroma along with alcohol before some spices. Honey flavor as well, with alcohol bite being much weaker than nose would suggest. Some other flavors are felt here, like for instance fruitness of a sherry or our local wine, prosek. Thick bodied, feels rich oily/creamy in the mouth. Warming, prolonged sweet finish. So sweet, it’s dangerously drinkable, I could easily drink a bottle or two. I was not happy about my first mead, but this is a completely different thing and I really like it!

0.75l bottle courtesy of and shared with heavy (huge thanks!) Poured a truly beautiful darker orange/amber... nice legs. The nose is big honey, slightly vinuous, dust and light alcohol,better than it sounds probably. A very, very drinkable mead, remarkably soft. Honey, prosecco-like notes (maybe grapes), some gummi bears and alcohol. Very warming. Definitely very, very enjoyable. Man, Apis really does some great stuff.

Shared by hopscotch again, thanks! Deep amber and still. Nose is solventy, acetone, with light honey behind it. Also seems somewhat dirt and earthy, weird. Flavor is very sweet, herbal and earthen. Heavy.

Bottled@Tuulensuu, Tampere. Hazy orange colour, no head. Aroma is herbal, honeyish, sugary and alcoholic with some slight fruity/berryish notes. Flavour is alcohol, stingy honey sweetness and a bit sappu. Rather sweet.
