6/2/2021. Can shared at the second Ipswich Lockdown 3.0 virtual bottle share. England vs Brazil. From Beer Garage, Northampton. Pours clear pale gold with a small frothy/creamy white head. Aroma is sweet watermelon. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Light body, slight watery creamy texture, soft carbonation. Aptly named, but not that keen.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 28/01/21. I knew this was going to be another Boot Town bier ... a little gush once more and too lively for the style. Lightly hazed golden amber with a big old just off white cap. Nose is sweet malts, mandarin, melon, floral whisper, grass, papaya. Taste comprises melon, tangerine, grass, papaya, sweet malts. Medium bodied, fine to spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. As with the others I had from Boot Town ... just lacking bitterness, over carbonated and come over a little like a home brew operation. Not terrible or anything but nothing I'd seek out.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 28/01/21. A gushing Panda ... who knew! Hazed golden to light copper with a decent off white cap. Nose is sweet malts, bitter orange, melon, tropical fruit esters. Taste comprises orange zest, ripe melon, pineapple, grass, airy malts, sweet edge. Medium bodied, fine to lightly prickly carbonation, semi drying close splashed with moderate juicy hop bitterness. Passable for the style ... akin to the APA I had earlier from these guys ... a touch too sweet and flabby. Need to up their game to match the hops on show today in the UK market.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 28/01/21. Moderate haze on a golden amber pour with an off white covering. Nose is orange pith, ripe melon, grass, toasted malts. Taste comprises sweet malts, pineapple, melon, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with moderate hop bitterness. Ok pale ... veers a little to sweet for my liking and lacks a bitter dimension.
