[ As Stallhagen Rooster ].Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt - toffee, light grassy - wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 330ml bottle kindly shared by Finn. Stable beige head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Deep rosewood coloured body. Mid-sweet malt driven aroma, mid-dry. Honeyed caramel flavours together with a backdrop of dark fruits. Mid-sweet malty ending. Decent, rather sweet though. (Homage to the movie Devil’s Bride (2016), Tromsø 26.07.2017).

RBESG 2017, sampled on July 19, 2017.At The Oak Barrel, Helsinki airport, short layover on my way to Riga.From tap, 40 cl for €8.90.Clear golden color with plenty of CO2 release in the glass, small white head with some trace of lacing. Sweet, malty, alcohol scent. Sweet, malty, bitter, alcohol taste. Bitter, alcohol aftertaste. Full body with sort of fizzy CO2 mouthfeel, medium bitterness.6/3/6/4/12=3.1

Black as coal. Nice thick beige head. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium plus body and a soft carbonation level. Easy to drink. Balanced sweetness. Chocolate, coffee, licorice and some faint smoked notes in the flavor. Decent easy drinkable beer.
