(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 22.08.17, from Viking Grace, 20170929)The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramel, honey and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were honey, malts, caramel, molasses and bitterness. Aftertaste had honey, malts and low bitterness. Too much honey and therefore unbalanced.

Flaske 330ml fra Kilpishalli. Delt med Rune på Nerstranda 26 Jul 17. Mørk amber. Høyt kremaktig skum. Litt lacing. Aroma av lettrøstet malt. Smaken honning & mørk frukt. Behagelig øl - men i søtligste laget.

330ml bottle kindly shared by Finn. Stable beige head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Deep rosewood coloured body. Mid-sweet malt driven aroma, mid-dry. Honeyed caramel flavours together with a backdrop of dark fruits. Mid-sweet malty ending. Decent, rather sweet though. (Homage to the movie Devil’s Bride (2016), Tromsø 26.07.2017).

33cl bottle from Viking XPRS. Pours clear amber with a modest off-white head. Malty and mild hoppy and fruity with honey and herbs. Moderate to medium sweet with mild, but pleasant flavours, fairly balanced with a moderate bitter finish. Enjoyable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Tulen Morsian on 06 Nov 2016 at 20:44 - Score: 6

A brown beer, a head is quite small and beige. Aroma has strong breadyness and lots of honey. Taste has bread, sweetness of honey, some bitterness and roasted bread peel. Not too sweet. Quite light. Nice and succesfully honey. Quite good.

Bottled 330ml (Viking Line taxfree)
Dark chestnut brown color, small off-white head. Strong honey aroma with some maltyness. Light-bodied, crisp carbonation. Caramel, honey, clean mouthfeel. Drinkable, just right amount of honey here: enough to see taste it but not too overpowering.
