Bottled. A black beer with dark brown head. The aroma has notes of smoke, roasted malt, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of smoke, iodine, roasted malt, peated smoke, and straw, leading to a dry roasted finish

LCRBM2: 2006 bottle. Brown sugar aroma. Sweet, too sweet for me. Roast flavor with coffee and blackcurrant. (6 3 7 3 12 = 3.1) 2007 bottle. Deep dark brown color, no head. Molasses in the aroma. Very sweet, sugary flavor with molasses and raisin. Tobacco and alcohol. Probably needs further cellaring to gain depth and complexity. 2006 bottle, tasted feb 28 2010. Deep dark bown color, tiny chunks of yeast. Roasted malt, milk chocolate coffee and laurel in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with roast and milk chocolate, laurel and dried fruit. Has matured remarkably well.

Bottle from TBone, sold as Slottskällans Classic Pils. Pale golden color, cloudy. Vennel and mint in the aroma. A soft grassy bitterness and mint in the flavor. Hints of dust and apple. Not a classic pilsener, but not unpleasant.
