Flaska från 2006(!). En försiktig upphällning ger en relativt klar, mörk guldfärgad vätska med en fingerhög beigevit skumkrona. Doftar och smakar av torkad frukt, rostat socker, madeira, lätt oxidationston. Kolsyran är kvar, oerhört mjuk och behaglig. Även kroppen har hållt sig. Fortfarande ett lätt bett från humlen, men snäll beska i avslutningen. Med tanke på alkoholhalt har denna klarat sig förvånansvärt bra och det är trevligt att dricka från början till slut. Oerhört mogen.

Bottle from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. Clear amber with a medium white head. Sweetish with caramel, some notes of vegetables, bread and hints of syrup. Quite boring to be honest.

Ganska tunn med smak av karamell, lite rök, en aning lakrits samt lite grönsaker. Går väl att dricka men håller inte ihop riktigt. Verkar vara ihopslängd på en höft.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear mahogany colour, mid sized head. Looks nothing like the style. Aroma of caramel and boiled cabbage. Sweet with medium body and sloppy, un-firm mouthfeel. Sweet caramel and DMS dominates. Mid bitter finish. Annoyingly bad in every way. A good reminder to keep not buying Slottskällan beers after the takeover.

En klassisk svensk Bayerskt; lite rostad malt, lite karamell, lite gräsig humle, lättdrucken. Man blir lite smått nostalgisk; det fanns en tid när sånt här var det bästa som fanns, nu är den bara helt ok.
