Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Lightly hazy golden. Sweaty hay with a touch of cherries up front. Dryish with deep, chewy doughy malt sprinkled with a healthy dose of hay-like hops. Soft with well defined malt character. Long salty bitterness. A superbly drinkable cask ale in top condition. One of the best cask conditioned pints I had from a Swedish brewer anytime.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 13 March 2010) Pale amber colour with brief, off-white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with citrus, apricots, grain and floral hops. Fruity taste with notes of biscuity malt, citrus, apricots, orange peel and slightly citrussy hops. Rather light body, fairly dry. Clean, tasty and refreshing.

300ml draught in a friendly company at De Klomp. Patchy, beige head atop of a hazy, dark amber body. Dry, resinous hops to the nose. Blended taste profile of dark and light hop resin supported by caramel malts with a smoky touch. Unusual and quite exciting (Linköping, 06.02.2010).

On tap at Akkurat. (June 2008, found an old rating) Almost black with a creamy but small brownish head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and some chocolate. The same in the flavor. It was very drinkable and pleasant, not spectacular but nice.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear nut brown, small creamy head. The nose holds marked spicy hops. Mid-sweet and lightly fruity with very solid caramelly body and good resiny biterness. A well balanced English style winter warmer with more power than antitcapted from a 5.6% brew.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with dark bread, toffee, citrus and a touch of grapefruit. Malty, roasted taste with notes of ryvita, toasty malt, chocolate, toffee and citrussy hops in a bready, toasty finish. Medium body, fairly dry. Tasty and well balanced winter warmer with solid malt and citrussy hops. Nice one.
