Description
The history of the brewery "Opillia" begins in the 19th century, from its foundation in 1851. Then the owner was Samson Goldberg, and later daughter Amalia Goldberg, whose name became one of the main elements on the beer label of this brewery. It was the first large brewery in Ternopil with a steam engine and the only one that has been operating since then.

Deep golden with a gentle sparkle. Butter leads the aroma and then it gets sour. The taste is burnt butter and vague graininess. Well, it is more drinkable than it deserves to be, in a Soviet kind of way.

Red-brown. The aroma is diacetyl, and lots of it. Taste is big butter, and brown sugar as well. Strange one.
