Can from Beerdome. Sweet malt aroma with caramel, toffee, some dried fruits and alcohol. Medium to heavy sweet, bit sticky. Good basic BW, expected it to be hoppier with the American Barley Wine label.

Can from Beerdome. Aroma is strong toffee with caramel, maple, fudge, malt, touch of honey, some chocolate. Flavour is sweet with a light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, hint of alcohol but not too much. Name pretty much says it all.

Tap. Dark brown, coffee foam. Aroma: sweet, caramel, crust of black bread, dried fruits, smoke, esters, chocolate and coffee, whisky. Taste: burnt bread, cigar ash, smoked prunes, wine, slightly lightly smoked whisky, very warming, a little harsh, but good and very dangerous.
