Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a nut brown color with a large foamy off white head that left good lacing. The aroma was bitter, woody, piney and a bit phenolic. The flavor was bitter, metallic and piney with a crystal malt note. Long finish. Medium body.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a hazy orange color with a large foamy white head that left very good lacing. The aroma was spearmint and vague herbs with a bit of spruce. The flavor was bitter and tart with spearmint, evergreen, pine and a light herbal note. Very long finish of spearmint and evergreen. Medium body.

The aroma was sweet and a bit yeasty with notes of honey and vague fruits. The flavor was tangy, bready and had a light sour mash presence. Medium length finish. Medium bodied and smooth.

The flavor was sweet, tangy and malty with honey and bread crust elements. Medium length finish. Medium bodied and smooth. Well made.
