Bottle on the Poland stand at World Travel Market 2013, Excel Centre, London. An amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Sweet, caramel type aroma. Taste is similar, sweetish, caramel, malty. Not my cup of tea to be honest.

Bottle. Aroma: bread, caramel, not much fruity notes. Clear, copper colour, with decent head. Medium sweetness, nearly no bitterness. Too sweet for me; I remember this beer used to be better.

Niestty nie przypomina to piwo irlandzkiego stylu. Przegiecie w nazwie i propaganda. Do Belfastu mu daleko. Przeszkadza fakt ze rozlewane tylko do puszek. Aromat karmelowy, slodowy przypomina mocnego bocka. Jest ciemne ale nie czarne z przewaga odcieni brazowych. Piana na srednim poziomie. Zbyt malo wytrawne a zbyt slodkie

Appearance: Cloudy amber color a fine creamy tan head. Ok curtains.
Aroma: Berry fruity and a bit sweet malty.
Palate: Medium + body. Moderate bitterness and a fine balanced sweetness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Round sweet berry fruity. Plum and mild vinous. Solid malty back.
Overall impression: Not often you can say: Tasty, fresh, powerful and easy drinkable to an Abbey Dubbel. But this one was. Nice!
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with EIDsmadre.

Aroma: not very intensive, mostly cereal, lack of fruity aromas. Copper colour, minimal head. Heavy cloying sweetness. Carbonation is a bit too high. Poor beer, has nothing to do with Belgian beers.

Draught at BBF2013. Clean amber with a thin head. Aroma is malty caramel. Flavour is warming plum with some nut on a dry chocolate finish.

Bottle. Hazy amber/brown with a medium head. Quite a lot of honey both in the aroma and taste. Also malt and some caramel. Sweet and with too much honey for my liking.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with small but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast with subtle hoppy notes and a touch of butter. Bitter flavour of hops, enriched by sweetish, grainy notes and a more-than-welcome amount of butter. Bitter and sourish finish. Drinkable, but I’d definitely go for something else.

Bottle. Pours fizzy, hazy copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, yeast and honey. Mildly bitter, hoppy onset, quickly replaced by massive, sweet honey notes, ending moderately bitter again. A slight perfumelike note. One of the decent Polish honey beers, but still not quite my kind.

50cl can from The Beer Store, Warszawa. Pours clear deep copper with a decent off-white head. Malty aroma with some roasty notes, licorice, dark fruits, caramel and hints of chocolate and raisins. Medium sweet with quite nice malty flavours and a light bitterness in the finish. A bit thin, and certainly not a stout as I know it, but pretty nice and drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Belfast on 21 Jun 2013 at 19:23 - Score: 6
