Crux is a crossroads, an intersection, the heart of something. In brewing it's that pivotal point where fermentation happens and anticipation mounts.
We’re Crux Fermentation Project— housed in a former AAMCO Transmission Plant and inspired by our location right in the heart of Bend, Oregon. Our brewery is a one-of-a-kind, built for non-traditional brewing methods like decoction mashing, open fermentation and barrel aging, and for leveraging the limitless possibilities that wild yeast strains and experimental hops present.

Pale gold body with thin white head. A little hazy. Light hoppy aroma. Something like a weizen in taste but with more hop. Crisp finish.

16 oz can from Hops & Bottles. Hazy pour, small thick head, fades to skin. Aroma is light tropical and bready notes. Taste gets funky, floral, tropical fruit, musty malts. A bit of citrus too.

On Tap at BitterCreek Hazy light golden. Big Belgian aroma and flavors. Smooth light malts and modest piney bittering. A good example of a sub style that was all the reage a few years a go.

On Tap at the Bend BP foggy light pale lemon yellow. Thin wispy white head. Fresh up ront grassy citrus zest hop flavors. Very light bodied and a clean finish. Nice fresh hop character.

On Tap at the Bend BP deep dark brown. Thin beige head. Light roast malts, a little woodiness and a touch of holiday spice. Very low hop character, if any. Not particularly interesting.
