We do love great beers!

Good beer selection is essential in our restaurants and therefore it was only natural that we went on with brewing.

We are so called gipsy brewers- meaning we don’t have our own brewery.

Limited production gives us the freedom to brew the stuff we truly enjoy ourselves.

Have a sip, enjoy and come to see us at Leib or Umami in Tallinn. Cheers!

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours hazy golden to orange with a minimal white head. Very fruity aroma and fairly yeasty too, some wheaty notes but mostly tropical fruits. Moderate to medium sweet with a rather messy explosion of flavours, mostly fruity. Acidic and somewhat refreshing, but not quite my thing.

33 cl bottle @ home. Batch #1, BBE 11.2016
Aroma has elements common to aged Belgian ales; raisins, belgian yeast and ripe fruits. Sweet but still pleasant. Flavour has funky yeasty tones, some mild orange-like hoppiness with gooseberry bush and ripe fruits. Finishes dry with some coffee tones. A positive surprise; this is balanced yet somewhat rich – and with good drinkability.

Wow, I read the ratings before me just after my rating and was quite surprised. Still, I stand behind my grading; I find this pleasant.

Pours dark reddish brown, mahogany. Only a little bit of foam, just a thin film that does not really stay. Aroma is sweet and caramelly, some candy sugar and Belgian yeast. Taste is similar, has some elements of a dubbel, strength is also there and even some layered sweet and spicy fruitiness. However, for me the taste sensations are a bit short and the body itself feels somewhat watery - although abc is high and its taste should be quite full. Not really enjoying this but definitely drinkable. Maybe I should try it with some food recommendations?

33cl bottle at Kohvik Retro, Kuressaare. Pours clear chestnut coloured with a fast dissipating off-white head. Malty, almost candy-like aroma with caramel, dried dark fruits and hints of dark bread. Sweet and malty with a light bitterness. Feels a bit thin and watery, carbonation slightly on the soft side, but drinkable enough.

Bottle (shared by suurjuust, thanks). Pours brown with beige head. Aroma is sweet, malt, raisins, apples. Flavor is sweet, candi, malt, some sour notes, dirty dishrag. Finish has more dirty dishrag. Overall: simple with brewing flaws.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - Bacth 2 - BB 20150817, at Bryggeri Helsinki, 20150320) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized, almost white and it lasted long. Aroma had fruitiness, saltiness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. A nice malt-forward hoppy brew.

Pours copper, not so clear. Long lasting foam. Aroma is rich, caramel, some old fruity hops. Not bad. Taste is also sweetish, toffee, satisfying. Rowans and some more ripen fruits. Bitterness is also there, quite weak. Old school IPA.
