(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, amber golden with a dense, bubbly, white head. Lightly nutty nose. Medium in body with lightly burned notes, an ashy touch and some nut accents before a dry finish. Decent but unspectacular. 040208

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy, deep golden with a small, off-white head. Fresh, lightly citrusy hop aroma. Medium body with a good malt base and a dry, flowery and also lightly citrusy finish also with lightly bitter hops. A fairly solid Premium Lager. 270108

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Weird tar-like aroma. Medium body with lightly sweet, roasted malt accents, and then again these odd, smoky, tar-like notes - of spruce? The finish is dry. Hmm, more historically interesting than really pleasant. 260108

(On tap) Almost clear, deep golden with a dense, creamy, off-white head leaving broad curtains of lacework. Fat, oily hops in the aroma. Medium body with a light base of caramel malts and then a VERY dry and fairly bitter finish. Would’ve loved a more distinct aroma hoppiness - this is just BITTER! Apparently brewer Grant Core may be under way with a new brewery in C’church - cheers and best of luck! 240108

(On tap) Cloudy, pale golden with a creamy, white head. Aroma of banana and - unfortunately - a whiff of butter. Medium-bodied with notes of yeast and banana and a somewhat phenollic finish. OK as such if it hadn’t been for the buttery aroma. 240108

Med amber color. Butterscotch, phenolic nose with the same thing going on in the mouth. Not particularly worth seeking out unless you are a history buff.

Bottled. Hazy chestnut brown, small off-whitehead. Spicy pine needle aroma. Sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Some lightly roasty malt, low bitterness. Despite it’s interesting name there’s actually not too much flavours in here.
