On tap at Vine Street. Low carbonation and smooth palate, but it does seem a little thin. Heavily roasted grain and a good amounted of coffee, just a little chocolate.

At vine street. A light and airy saison. Flowers and grass with yeast. Some sugar in the aftertaste.

Tap at Vine st. Lightly hazy but lacking a head. It looks thin. Tje aroma is correct with wheat and banana, but light. Mild flavor with some sweet wheat. More of a wheat ale.

Tap @ Boulder Strong Ale Fest 2013. Pours a clear pinkish appearance with a dissipating white head. The aroma and flavor just taste like Italian Raspberry soda. Very spritzy, highly carbonated. I can’t believe this is really 13.2%. It drank easy enough for an Alcopop. If it’s really 13.2% alcohol, I need to get a keg of this for Randomgarbage.

Tap @ Boulder Strong Ale Fest 2013. Pours a black appearance with a brown head. Somewhat sweet, a touch boozy bourbon, toffee, chocolate aroma. Roasty chocolate malty, slightly boozy bourbon flavor but altogether pretty tasty.

Tap @ Boulder Strong Ale Fest 2013. Pours a brown appearance with a tan head. Toasty malty, caramel, fairly fruity aroma. Light toffee, dark fruity, caramelized sugary flavor. Alright.

Tap at Vine Street - fizzy pour - full carbonation in the mouth, just a little rough - flavor is fairly acidic up front, with a lot of tart cherry flavor (bordering on sour) - develops mild sweetness through the middle, but the sour cherry dominates throughout - cocoa is barely noticeable - tart cherry skin finish - this one is a fail.

Tap at Vine Street - interesting aroma of anise, cocoa, nutmeg, and deeply roasted pumpkin - carbonation is a little rough in the mouth - medium sweet at first, with some anise and prune - dries out through the middle - this is when some earthy roasted pumpkin comes - finish of bitter roast, cinnamon, and nutmeg - I like it, but it is a little rough on palate (carbonation and acidity).

Tap at Vine Street - now this is an American imperial stout I can get behind - hoppy, of course, but not in an astringent, ipa sort of way - woody qualities meld well with the light roast and mild char of the malt - creamy body - well masked alcohol - very smooth for the abv - finish has complex notes of fig, anise, raisin, chocolate - lingering hop spiciness - I love this beer, and I love stout month!

Nitro at Vine Street - much mellower than I anticipated - medium dry, with a light mineral note, a touch of cocoa - the spices are present but subdued - mostly lightly spicy cinnamon and a touch of cardamom - I like it!
