A good but not great weizen. It has a good wheat aroma with bubblegum and citrus. Dark gold color and there is some sediment. Cloudy as well. Sweet wheat with more light bubblegum and a hint of citrus. I would like to see a heavier palate.

500ml Bottle from Country Club Liquors; nose of light banana esters with some caramel and spiciness; lightly hazed dark gold with a medium off-white head; flavor is more like a rye grain taste than wheatlightly sweet and fruity with some nutmeg.Different hefe!

Bottle. Clear, a bit pale golden pour, topped by a lasting, off-white head. Grain and hay on the nose, with some hops too. Quite dry bitterness, hay and grain in the flavor, finishing rather bitter. Medium body. A decent pilsner, nothing more. (070807)

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Pours a clear, orangey brown with an off-white head. Sweetish malty, somewhat nutty nose. Very full-bodied with lots of roasted malt and sweetish, dried fruits. Almost no bitterness. Very classical and pleasant Doppelbock, 230807

Very hazy golden coloured body with a nice orange tint and a very thick tan head that lasts and remains frothy - very nice looking. Aroma of fresh wheat, curacao, spices, nutmeg, yeast, malt and some more wheat. Light to medium-bodied; Nice malty flavour with yeast and spice showing through...but mild in respect to the smell. Aftertaste shows more of the same - a good wheat , yeast and coriander flavour throughout. Overall, a decent beer - nothing amazing, but nothing horrible either. I sampled this 500 mL bottle purchased from Sam’s Wine & Liquor in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 08-August-2007.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a fluffy foamy white head. A bit mouldy herbal hoppy nose with a sourish grassy touch on a discreet grainy background. Bitter and sourish sweet flavour, slim bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Slightly grainy taste with light herbal notes; bitter-sour finish.

Bottle (decided I had to rate a Hefe for German beer #500 and Wheat beer #300). Ripe banana, lemon and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy orange-yellow color with a nice big head. Tart lemon/orange with a strong wheat malt flavor. A very good Hefe - seemed to hold up better than most German Hefes that are imported to the US.

Süßer Bananengeruch. Schwacher Antrunk, danach direkt sehr prickelnd, wobei die Hefe ihre Kraft entfaltet. Süßer, etwas fruchtige Überleitung in den hinteren Mittelteil, das Bier wird hier würziger, was den Nachgeschmack ebenfalls über so bleibt. Malzig-fruchtiger Nachgeschmack mit herben Nuancen, dabei würzig. Nettes Weizen. Test vom 15.5.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,9,10,9,11,9 - 8,95

Giftgrüne Farbe, dafür aber akzeptabler Schaum. Sehr süßer Antrunk, der natürlich kein Bier durchlässt, gemacht für Kinder. Weiterhin süß, etwas künstlich. Zitroniger Nachhall, in dem erstmals eine leichte Herbe durchdringt. Test vom 27.4.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,5,7,7,9,5 - 6,10

Bottled(330ml). -I’ve tried only three cola flavored beers. First one was Mixery and it was good, and the other two (including this) were disaster. Sweet cola flavor and taste with not so pleasant bitterness in the finish.
