Heller, mild limonadiger Beginn mit minimaler Herbe. Erfrischend, natürlich, weder zu süß noch zu limonadig. Mittellanger Abgang. Okay. 8/8/9/7/8/8

500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, creamy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, snow white head. Grainy, strawy, malty, minimally doughy yeasty aroma, grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is minimally strawy, pale malty, minimally doughy yeasty, quite bitter hoppy with a grassy touch, very cautious fruity hoppy hints of apricot. Clean, refreshing, nicely hopped, one of the better offerings from Licher.

Hessenquell Landbier, Flasche aus dem Herkules-Getränkemarkt, Marburg. - Nach oberhessischer Rezeptur gebraut - was auch immer das heißen soll. - Hell goldbraun, klar. - Nase matt karamellig-malzsüß mit milder Frucht, Anklänge an Fruchtgummi, äußerst schwache Hintergrundherbe. - Antrunk leicht limonadenähnlich mit weicher malziger Süße und milder Frucht. Anklänge an Butterkeks und Sahnebonbon. Milder rezent. Im Abgang verwaschene, störend muffig-ranzige Herbe ohne Hopfenaromen. Schwach holzig-seifiger Nachtrunk. - Noch eine Großbrauerei, die mit einem miserabel gehopften, malzbetonten Bierchen auf der Landbier-Welle zu schwimmen versucht ... und dabei Schiffbruch erleidet. Roasted malt and espresso in the aroma. Full bodied. Malty flavor. Roast, chestnuts. Certainly not sweet, but with a rather refined bitterness in the aftertaste. Well made and quite likeable doppelbock. Bottle from MoritzF, with my thanks for this hard to find gem!

Bottle from MoritzF. Thanks! Orange gold color. Mandarin and banana in the aroma, with a touch of flowers added. Vinous flavor. Very fruity (banana, mandarin, mango). Fruity thist quencher, without too much depth.
