Nice dark brown in color, with a very small head; some lacing. Sweet roasted scent, nothing new here, but it's pleasant. A bit on the sweet side in the taste, I suppose that's the maple coming in. I'm used to nut brown ales a bit more bitter. This beer's drinkable, but it's too sweet for me to consume on a regular basis. Thankfully, I got the sampler pack from Tommyknocker, so I only have one more of these.

Nice burnt-orange color, but has no head to speak of. Only the faintest floral scent, but it's so far away that it's almost undetected. Very alcohol flavored, moreso than beers I've had with more alchohol in them. A little too much for me, though I have to give it a 3.0 for its own defined flavor. Pretty thin in the mouth, feels like I'm drinking beer that's been iced down, or alcohol mixed with a shot of 7-up. IT'S OK beer, but most likely this will be my only sampling time.

Looks light and watery... Mmmmhmmm, not much carbonation, small head, yes very beer-drinking-urine-like. Kinda lilacy in the scent... smells nice, not strong scented. When you smell this beer you also taste this beer. No surprises here, tastes exactly like it smells... A bit thin in the mouth. There's nothing wrong with this beer, but also not much right either. Save your time and go for something a little more original or defined.

A pleasantly hopped, well balanced brown ale that finishes with hint of Maple. Too much Maple would ruin this beer, but it is just right and the hops are too. Worth trying.

This brew pours a dark orange-amber with a thin off-white head. Quick lacing. Aroma is nicely hopped with a hint of citrus. Medium-bodied with a decent amount of hops, but being very close to bland. The finish is a little tart and hoppy. Above average, but this would be much better if it was a little less weak.

This beer is a dark reddish-brown color with a medium and lively (albeit short-lived) light brown head. Strong caramel and malt aroma. Medium-bodied with lots of caramel and malt in the flavor, along with a little fruit and spice (pepper). Finish is mildly sweet. One of the better Tommyknockers I have tried.

Pours a murky straw color with a thin white head. Quick lacing. Aroma is light hops and spice. Light bodied with flavors of citrus, floral hops and very little wheat. Finish is rather crisp and carbonated. This is a mediocre beer overall, but not bad on the scale of other American Wheats I have tried.

Since when is being Ornery a good thing? When I think ornery, I think of the smart-ass kids you find on network TV sitcoms. I hate those kids. Luckily I will not hold the adjective against this beer. Pours a dark orangish-brown with a medium thin bone white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and maple. Medium-bodied and kind of syrupy, with flavors of caramel, malt, honey and hops. More hops would have helped this beer, as it almost OD's on the sweet/syrupy aspect. The finish is sticky too. Another forgettable beer from Tommyknocker.

This Lager scales new heights in blandness. Pours a pale and lightly fizzy yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma is barely detectable hops. Rather thin bodied and clean, with a weak hops flavor. Finish is crisp. I'd take this over a macro lager on a hot summer day, but that's about it.

I think I got an old one, this did not taste anything like what I was expecting. Pours a dark brown color with a medium beige and quickly dissipating head. Next to no lacing. Aroma is sweet and malty. Flavor was just way too sour, with a touch of sweetness that could have been caramel and could have been malt. Hard to tell though as the sourness dominated. Finish was kind of flat. I'll have to try this one again some time, it just seemed off.
