Cat urine and marigold nose, moderately strong. Clear amber, medium cream colored head with good lacing. Sweet malt and cat pee. I’m guessing there must be Simcoe in this IPA, but I’ve been wrong before. Lillies noticeable. Medium body and smooth. Good example of an "East Coast" IPA

Growler from Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of herbal, resin and almost catty hops, a bit of citrus and toffee malts. The taste is bitter resin hops, citrus, toffee malts. Medium bodied, decent balance, lingering bitterness.

Draft at Beer Run. Pours a clear copper color with a thin head. Poor head retention. Aroma of herbal, citrus and tropical hop notes with a bit of a tinny note. The taste is herbal and citrus hops, pale malts and a bit of canned fruit. Medium bodied. Disjointed and minor flaws, but could easily be improved into an excellent beer.

Served on draft at Beer Run. Pours a dark brown color with a thin tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of chocolate malts and coffee. Fairly sweet. The taste is bitter coffee, chocolate, roasted nuts and a faint hop note. Thin bodied and slightly disjointed, but a decent beer that could be excellent with a little refinement.
