Bottled
Another Haus Der 131 Biere product. Pale golden, small white head. Papery, but same time sweet malty aroma. Sweet malty standard lager from "German supermarket". A bit fruity, light cardboard flavor.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pale golden with a small, rough head. Very interesting - yet suspicious - brett nose. Was wondering if it was too old, but the best before date is July 2006. Strangely the brett doesn’t leave any sourness, instead you get odd sweetish and dusty flavours. Not really of malt - it’s really hard to describe. Quite fascinating because it’s completely impure, flawed and inharmonious. Like rolling yourself in a carcass... 280206

Bottled. Clear, pale golden with a white a decent white head. Malty flavor with some hayish notes. The flavor starts malty, but is soon replaced by notes of hay and cardboard. Fair bitterness in the finish. (060131)

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy pale golden - actually looks like a Belgian Wit - with a gigantic, frothy head that leaves some laces as it slowly dissipates. Lightly spicy, herbal nose. Very soft and smooth mouthfeel. Light body with some sweetness and a touch of malt. Completely lacking bitterness. Unfortunately has no traces of hemp which usually has quite a distinct and unique flavour. The base beer appears to be a light, blond ale. 261205

Test vom 20.10.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,4,7,4,9,5 - 5,40

(Bottle 33 cl) Very dark brown -bordering on black. Apparently unfiltered. Handsome, brown, creamy head. Quite light with an underlying, light dryness, but not as much as in typical stouts. Quite light body despite the alcohol and very flavorfull, almost like an Abbey Dubbel. Surprising and positive experience, but it doesn’t have much in common with a normal stout. Wannabe Canadian beer, apparently isn’t available in Canada!. 251104

(Bottle 33 cl) Strubbe really takes on all sorts of weird enterprises, but this one really must be one of the weirdest. Murky, pale golden with a gigantic and very white head. Loads of impurities (graded cellery....?). Sweetish, soft somewhat lactic with a distinct flavour of....cellery. This is a joke, but a slightly drinkable one. 170201
