A hazy deep red beer with an orange head. The aroma is primarily of caramel. The flavor is sweet, yet a little acidic, with notes of roasted bread, but the mouthfeel and power is surprisingly thin for a Doppelbock and for a beer of 7.6% ABV.

The aroma is rich sweet and malty. The color is golden and it has a beutiful bubbly head. The flavor starts out thin, then the malt hits with a good sweetness, that again gives way for a nice bitter hop, that increases for awhile and lingers for a while.

Bottled. Golden coloured. Fruity and medium bodied with some harsh bitterness. Another fake import from my hate object: Haus der 131 Biere.

Bottled (BB 05/2005)
Golden color, small creamy white head. Sour skunky hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty, dry finish. Grassy, cheap palate.

Pale blond color. Very poor, watery, just very light cereals, a bit salty and smelly. Bitter and dry finish.

A hazy yellow beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet malty while the flavor is bad: malty and sour from brewing corn and the body is even thin.

Pale, yellow colour. Nice head. Pleasant toffee-aroma. A very thin beer with a faint dry-ish finish.

Very pale yellow colour. Nice, fluffy head. Slightly sourish, metallic aroma. Very thin, adjunct-filled, nasty flavour. Faint, dry-ish finish. Crap.

A dark amber beer with a small collapsing beige head. The aroma is sour from brewing cereal, but with hints of sweetness. The flavor is sour and too carbonized. A poor beer.
