Description
Brouwerij Egmond heeft een licentie met de abdij van Egmond en is het enige Benedictijner abdijbier van Nederland. Na een lange tijd het bier in België bij de Proefbrouwerij te hebben laten brouwen, is in 2018 Brouwerij Egmond geopend in Egmond aan den Hoef.

Klares rötlichbraunes Bier mit einer fingerbreiten beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach reifem Obst, Karamell. Geschmack sehr malzig, reifes Obst, viel Karamell, leicht nussig.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ First Official Randers Tasting ] by HenrikSoegaard, at HenrikSoegaard house, Randers, Denmark. [ As Sancti Adalberti Miraculum Novum Egmondse Blonde ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, pale malt, vegetables, moderate yeasty, yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, belgium yeast, grass - grain, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150124]

Bottle @ First Official Randers Tasting. Pours hazy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of fruit and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with malty and citric notes. Lingering, estery, slightly acetic and hoppy aftertaste. Okay but perhaps not quite worth the name.

Bottle. Creamy White good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity and phenolic. Sweet, toasted and mild caramelish. Sweet and toasted, light grassy finish.

Bottle @ First Official Randers Tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are bread, grass, straw, malt, fruits and hops.

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, sweet yeast, fruity. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity, sugary, sweet yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140704]

Bottle at the OBER Kerstbier festival, Essen 2014. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin off white head. The aroma is yeast, citrus fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet with a light watery sweet malt mineral light metallic palate. Light bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Red brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hop, pine. Flavour is fruit, malt, hop, caramel, pine, hop, dried fruits, yeast. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, large sample. Slight hazy copper color, short head. Aroma of licorice, spicy, caramel, hint of roast. Quite sweet in taste. Spicy and sweet, not my kind of beer.
