(Draught, Stockholm Beer Festival, 29 Sep) Dark amber colour, slightly hazy, small foamy off-white head. Malty, nutty nose with lots of toffee, fudge and caramel. Taste is malty and nutty, with toffee, fudge and a nice earthy hoppiness in the finish. Very nice beer.

[Draught @ Stockholm Beer Festival] Pale yellow with a slight haze. No head and very little carbonation if any. Spicy fruity aroma, is it elderberry? Spicy, sourish, floral flavour. The alcohol shows up in the finish.

(Draught, Stockholm Beer Festival, 29 Sep) Pale yellow colour, hazy, with a huge white frothy head. Fruity and spicy nose with citrus. Sweetish, reminding of dish water with lemon zested washing-up liquid. Fruity taste with lemon and orange, spicy, almost sweet-and-sour like. Notes of orange peel in the finish. Interesting, but a bit too sweet for me.

[Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival] Very pale yellow, cloudy. Aroma of honey and wild yeast. Plenty of citric orange, honey and alcohol. Sweetish and still young, not yet fully developed I believe., but already tasty.

[Bottled at the brewpub] Very pale yellow, no head. Citric honey aroma., Semi dry with light sparkling mouthfeel. Very elegant and lightly flowery - champagne-like indeed. Not like any mead I’ve tasted before - extremely drinkable and not the slightest cloying.

[Bottled at the brewpub] Hazy amber, rich but brief head. Aroma of grass and marzipan. Dryish with firm, rounded mouthfeel. Evident but not overpowering Belgian style almondy yeast character. Powerful spicy hop finish with biting bitterness. Think De Ranke XX Bitter, think excellent and you can picture this beer.

[Draught at the brewpub] Cloudy pale yellow, fairly rich head. Restrained coriander aroma with some flower and perfume. Medium sweet and lightly fruity. There’s a whiff of citrus. A refreshing and drinkable beer with some late grassy bitterness.
