50cl bottle from somewhere in Vilnius, probably Rimi. Pours clear mahogany with an off-white head. Malty aroma with heavy caramel notes, dark dried fruit and hints of alcohol. Sweet, almost cloying, too much caramel for my taste, but fairly drinkable. Fair enough.

500ml bottle picked up at tres bonne. Pours out a deep mahogany topped with a small tan head. nose is heavy sweet milk chocolate caramel and roast malts. The taste is more of the heavy sweetness rich malts and a odd metallic note on the end. Well happy to say this is my first Lithuania tick.

@ Zalguiris Arena watching Zalguiris Kaunas vs. Olimpiakos. Golden color with minimal and quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is quite similar as flavor, notes of light maltiness with slightly bitterness. Light body with a watery mouthfeel.

Bottle from Tres Bonne Cuisine. A bit musty, sweet malt that obliterates any of the roast grain nature, making it closet to a dark lager. Dark brown pour with miniscule head. Mostly sweet malts in aroma and taste, but bottle dating is obscured, so can’t tell if it’s past shelf life. My gut says possibly....still not horrible, but a disappointing porter.

Bottle from Continental Food Store, Wakefield. Pale hazy orange, no head. If you like Fanta Orange, you might like this, it’s practically the same, but with a little less fizz. There’s lots of orange in its nose. Doesn’t feel like a beer at all.

50cl can from a Rimi Hypermarket in Vilnius. Pours clear copper coloured with a small, off-white head. Mild malty and caramelly aroma with notes of dried fruits, hints of metal, citrus and grass. Moderate sweet, fairly mild in flavour, but with a somewhat dry and noticable bitter finish. Fairly watery and boring, but not unpleasant. --- Beer merged from original tick of Mr. Hops Brown Ale on 03 Nov 2015 at 21:38 - Score: 4

50cl can from a Rimi Hypermarket in Vilnius. Pours slightly hazy pale golden with a white head. Grainy aroma with notes of canned fruits, hints of grass and dried citrus. Not to sweet, but not very hoppy either. Certainly not craft beer. Somewhat better than the regular pale lagers. Didn’t have very high expectations, but nevertheless they weren’t met. Can’t see the point of these. Not for the usual cheap pale lager drinker and certainly not for the craft beer people. Good thing that it is a "limited edition". Back to the drawing board! --- Beer merged from original tick of Mr. Hops Hoppy Lager on 02 Nov 2015 at 18:48 - Score: 4

Bottle from a corner shop in Bedford. Pale yellow with a quickly disappearing white head. Corn syrup and strong malt in the aroma with a bit of ammonia. Taste is very sweet and sugary but not altogether bad, one of those lagers that kind of grows on you. Sweet, spicy and slightly citrussy aftertaste, a bit of saccharin. Weak body but the carbonation is well-judged. It’s ok, wouldn’t have it again but I’ve had much much worse.

Bottle from Continental Food Store, Wakefield. Extremely dark red with no head. For someone who hasn’t had a cola for over 10 years, this still very much tastes like one. It’s not quite up to the standards of the prominent US market leader, more like a supermarket own brand. It’s hard to notice anything ’brewed’ about it at all, and there’s no noticeable strength to it at all. Sugary sweet like cola.
