Wie viele Bier aus der recht aktiven Brauerei, die sehr hübsche Dose hatte, aber geschmacklich nicht zu besonders. Es hat eine hübsche rote Farbe, aber kein wirklich gutes Aroma. So ist es pickig-süß und schafft keinen malzigen Körper. Auch de hopfige Seite gibt nicht viel her. Nettes Mitbringsel, aber geschmeckt hat es mir nicht.

Bottled 330ml. -shared with hrabren. Black coloured, medium sized beige head, coffee nose. Sweetish malty, coffee, caramel, notes of brown sugar and lactose with sweet finish.

Bottled 330ml. -shared with hrabren. Murky orange coloured, medium sized white head, ripe fruits and some honey in the nose. Sweet malty, ripe oranges, touch of honey and some citrus with bitterish sweet finish.

0.33 l bottle thanks to prof. Pryzbylewski who shared it with Ogi and myself. Dark brown, beige head. Nice coffee aroma, some caramel and malts. Light molasses. Creamy texture, light to medium body, a bit too sweet. Coffee, brown sugar, toffee, malts and nuts in the flavour. Minimal bitterness, finishes sweet.

0.33 l bottle, thanks to prof. Pryzbylewski who shared with Ogi and myself. Hazy orange, small white head. Moderately hoppy, ripe citrus, tart fruit. Medium body, soft carbonation, juicy. Tart hoppy, citrusy, ripe orange juicy, too sweet, bland, minimal bitterness.

Ich glaube, das ist das erste Bier der Brauerei -und inzwischen habe ich einige von dort probiert-, das ich nicht als falsch oder unangenehm empfand. Es ist angenehm gehopft und hat einen harmonischen Körper. Wenn man es nicht besser wüsste würde man es für ein solides klassisches Industrie-IPA halten und als quasi easy-drinking bezeichen. Aber es wird als hazy DIPA beschreiben und das ist es einfach nicht. Da hilft auch die toll gestaltete Dose mit dem grinsenden Batman-Joker nicht. Kann man gut und gerne trinken, wenn man gerne ein klassisches IPA mag, aber als stärkeres DIPA ist es einen Themenverfehlung, da es an Trübe und auch an Hopfenbittere fehlt.

Ein abstruses Bier begleitet den heutigen Abend. Es ist stark trüb und hat einen intensiven süß-sauren Geschmack nach Uhudler-Trauben. Es ist dabei nicht mal grauslich, aber doch sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ich würde es nicht unbedingt empfehlen, aber probieren kann man es gerne einmal.

Appearance: Foggy gold with a moderate white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma: Honey, oxidized malt, sugared citrus, tropical notes, walnut. Taste: Medium sweet, light bitter. Honey, sugared citrus, tropical notes, walnut, herbal notes. Mouth feel: Medium body, sof to average carbonation. Overall: Old, underhopped.

Und das nächste Bier aus dieser Brauerei, das mich nicht überzeugen konnte. Auch dieses hatte einen gräulichen Farbton und eine gammlige Note nach altem Weizenbrot und Pilzen, die man im Wald lieber stehen lässt. Von Weizenbier oder IPA oder einfach nur gutem Bier 🍺 ist man weit entfernt.
