Pours hazy orange golden, topped with huge and lasting offwhite head. Ripe bananas and spices in the nose. Spicy wheaty body, some sweetness and noticeable final bitterness. Medium body. Good weizen.

At Škripa Pub, Novi Sad. Shared with lovely Anja. Murky golden, diminishing small off-white head. Lacing. Banana, spices, light grassy. Sweet with subtle harshness, fruity, spicy and yeasty. Medium body, soft to medium carbonation, light spicy finish. Very pleasing, on the spicy side.

330ml bottle from Dogma in Moscow. Pours cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is caramel, dank hops, smelly socks, cooked vegetables(?). Taste is a lot better - tropical fruits, heavy caramel sweetness, malt, strong bitterness. What exactly is Russian about it, besides the name?

Pours hazy fiery orange, topped with thin white head. Intense tropical fruit nose with very noticeable presence of biscuity malt in teh back. Starts sweet, fruity and malty but gentle, followed by mild bitterness which gets much more sharp in teh aftertaste. Quite full body, silky texture. Alcohol is extremely well hidden, just slight warmth.

Sample @Samo Pivo (Belgrade). Cloudy pale golden pour with white foam. Nose is not that fruity, some grapefruit and passion fruit. Mouth has even sour notes (?), not sure is foreseen. Pretty tart but not offensive. Definetly not a NE IPA per say

On tap at the Novi Sad beer fest. Dark brown with an off white head. Smokey malty aroma, brown sugar, dark maltiness. Light dark malt / caramel, light coffee. Bitter finish. Medium body. Quite caramelly, just a solid RIS, nothing more, nothing less. --- Beer merged from original tick of Black Fire on 17 Sep 2024 at 22:30 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: Can, huge thanks Višnja666 for sharing with Hrabren, who shared it with Ogi and me. Murky dark brown-black body, some off-white head. Bit oaky, dry, coffee-malty, sweetish, lightly roasty aroma. Dry, bitter, lightly astringent taste, the black malty kinda dominating, but there's some nice coffee, caramel touches as well, the body kills it.

On tap at the Novi Sad fest. Milky ochre body with a huge white head. Big hoppy aroma, peach and grapefruit, sweetish, soft base, lovely. Soft taste, grapefruit and lemon, juicy, soft, ends dry and refreshing, quite fresh and tasty. An excellent NE IPA.
