Bottle. Deep copper with a short head. Aroma of sour fruit. Flavour is tart sloe, a little jam, sour base. A bit too sour for me.

Bottle. Orange amber with a full head. Aroma of pithy orange and malt. Flavour is overripe orange, pips and all. Malt and fruit finish.

330ml bottle at home. Pours a very dark red, almost brown, extremely large off-white head that mutes the aroma unfortunately. Once the carbonation dies down a bit, the aroma is still a little too slight for a DIPA, hints of spruce, brown bread, butterscotch. Flavour is equally soft like the aroma. Spruce and pine up front, solid malt backbone of buttered bread. This reminds me more of an English Barleywine than a Double IPA. Smooth flavour, well balanced, no hints of booziness at all, but not what one expects of a DIPA nowadays. A new brewery, good beer to build from.
