Flute at Shelter DC, pours an opaque black with a thick cap of foamy off white head. Nose has malt, yeast, some cocoa powder, toast. Flavor has all that, cocoa, toast, yeast, some raisnette. Creamy and soft finish.

Draft at brick store pub one of few offerings under 10% and so was chosen for road trip purposes. Clear golden pour minimal head that dissipate. Nose is banana and clove. Tastes the same wheat yams spicy. Thinner bodied for style. Pleasant and zippy

Flute at Shelter, pours a clear gold with some lacey white head.  Nose is a bit sweet, honey and flowers, cornbread with butter, straw.  Flavor has honey corn bread, flowers, some grass.  Oily finish.  Yummy.  7 4 7 4 14

Can thanks to Carl. Pours a cloudy orange with medium white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is dank and tropical fruit. Slick body, juicy, grapefruit, papaya, melon, dank, nice bitterness, very good.
