(On tap @ The Wheeled, Barrie ON, Oct 23/22) Pours fairly hazy bright yellow with a decent white head and some lace. Aroma and flavour are both nice and leafy/citrus forward, with lime, pale grapefruit, fresh leaves, some pine needles, nice soft dankness. Flavour is quite dry for style (as typical for Willibald) with lime, graperfruit, soft tropical fruit, moderate leafiness and some nice fresh softly resinous pine, lightly bready malt, fairly neutral yeast, dry finish with low bitterness, lime leaves, pale citrus oils, fresh pine, a little bread, touch chalky. Light to medium body for style, soft carbonation. Good stuff, very balanced, definitely not a too-much TIPA, if anything it drinks a touch soft.
