Bottle. A pitch black beer topped by a creamy tan head. The aroma is roasted, with licorice, soy sauce and brown sugar. Coffee too. Felt very good at first, but it diminshed quickly and isn't very complex. It's medium to full bodied with a light warmth. Semi-sweet, with flavors of soy sauce, licorice and roasted malts. Long finish. Well, sure drinkable and all that, but a bit thin, dull and uninteresting. 231115

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, reddish amber with a tiny, off-white head. Faint cherry aroma. Medium body, dry fruitiness with slight phenols and again a very faint hint of cherries. Dry finish. 071123

Bottle 50 cl. Comes gushing. Pours an opaque black with a small, beige head. Nose as some roast but even more dark, dried fruits. Rich body, roasty but again more dark dried fruits. Gets somewhat ashy and coal like with a malt bitter finish. I have a sense of malt extract in this. 251023

Bottle 50 cl. Pours black with an orange hue and a small, rough, brownish head. Dusty nose, more dark, dried fruits than roastiness. Light in body, rubbery and flawed, with a tart note. Again dusty and even oxidized. Lowish carbonation. Super weird and nothing near a decent Porter. 241023
