Almost brown with a frothy head that soon fades. Aroma of prunes and caramel. Taste is bittersweet with a short, faintly bitter finish. Body to the light side of medium, moderate to prickly carbonation, trends watery. Drinkable. Has more character than I expected from a random Rewe beer.

Bottle from the Rewe. Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma of grass wrapped in aluminum foil. Taste is bitter with a long, metallic finish. The modest undertone of caramel and pear jam is not enough to save this one. Body to the light side of medium, prickly carbonation, decent chewiness. Not much fun.

A slightly hazy dark golden beer with big off white head. Aroma of caramelized malt, wheat, biscuit, phenols. Taste of biscuit malt, wheat, spicy hops, high carbonation.
