Bottle share at the Black Iris taproom with the RB Nottingham trip. Mid-brown, a little translucent with very little head. Sweet aroma, molasses, a little rum. Taste is more balanced with raspberry jam coming through the light lashings of rum. Medium body for the ABV and body is a little flat. Delicious stuff.

Bottle share at the taproom with the RB Nottingham trip. Very dark brown, opaque with a beige head. Lovely aroma but it's hard to get past the bourbon. Taste is a revelation: sweet with the Heavens Hill adding just a lively accent to the chocolate and molasses notes. Just a slight bitterness to the fi ish. Brilliant beer.

Bottle bought at Black Iris. Aroma is sweet and boozy. Darkest brown. Foamy beige head recedes quickly. Initial sweetness followed by raspberry spur edge. Medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long astringent finish. Decent.
