Draught at Sommar Leicester. Dark gold, hazy with a small wisp of white head. Intense citrus aroma with some almost scalliony hop notes. Some sticky sugary tangerine notes. Taste is a lot more balanced with sweet tropical fruit followed by an intense bitterness. Very nicely put together beer!

Keg draught at Sommar Leicester. Light greenish gold and hazy with a ring of white head and lots of lacing. Dank aroma with oniony notes, dried grass, white grapefruit. Sweet taste, intense hop. A bit too bitter on the finish. Needs a bit of tempering, otherwise good.

Draft at Sommar, Waterloo Street, Birmingham. Poured a murky yellow orange colour with a lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, rich, juicy orange tangerine citrus, light warm alcohol, floral woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. I was expecting a big beer given the price I paid and it didn’t disappoint.
