Draught keg at Sommar Leicester. Light and slightly greenish gold with a ring of white head. Light tropical and white grape hops on the nose. Taste is a little more malt-based than I'd have guessed but it gives the whole thing a lovely balance with melon to the fore in the short finish. Light body with carbonation slightly on the heavy side. Definitely a decent IPA.

Draught keg at Sommar Leicester. Dark, muddy golden and hazy with a small layer of white head. Stone fruit and hints of berry in the aroma, with some underripe white grapefruit. Sweet taste with strong citrus increasing to the long finish. Herbal notes in the aftertaste. Thick body for the ABV with little carbonation. Nice little IPA showcasing a great hop.

Draught keg at Sommar Leicester. Mid-gold and clear with a large thick white head leaving lots of lacing. Light aroma, malty with light stone fruit hop, some iced tea. Basic but fantastic little taste with just enough dry hop to keep you interested. Orange bitters and sweet cooking spice. More iced tea and some toffee in the finish. Watery body with almost no carbonation. It's surprisingly good for the style.

Draught keg at Sommar Leicester. Thick creamy yellow with a small film of white head. Fairly substantial hoppy and creamy aroma with a bit of vanilla, some caramel alongside melon and sift citrus peel. Nice little balance in the mouth with malty sweetness challenged by grapefruity hop notes. Finish has substantial bitterness. Watery body and carbonation lower than I'd have liked, but that's okay. Lots going for this one.

Draught keg at Sommar Leicester. Light yellow gold and fairly hazy with a film of white head. Creamy hop aroma, melon, banana and some pineapple. Full rounded taste with lots of alcohol, more pineapple, cantaloupe, boozy notes. Slightly bitter in the finish. Body slightly watery with medium to heavy tight carbonation. Really decent little beer.

Draught keg at Sommar Leicester. Reddish golden, clear with a tiny film of white head. Strawberry aroma, some vanilla ice cream notes, fairly basic stuff. Comes together a bit more in the taste with the tart fruit showing more as promised raspberry. The initial sourness is drowned out by a dessert sweetness in the finish. Light body and low carbonation. Decent, and certainly more than the sum of its parts, but one of the weaker Sommar beers I've tried.

Draft at Sommar Waterloo Street, Birmingham. Poured a murky golden orange colour with a thin white head. The aroma is grainy malt, big mango. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, with a smooth, rich, dry, juicy mango, floral hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Tasty, but more like a fruit juice. Aren’t beers supposed to be bitter?
