Draft at Sommar, Waterloo Street. Poured a murky golden brown colour with an everlasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, piney hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a big chewy malt, dank, piney, floral hop bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation. I could almost eat this! Yes itโs bitter and hoppy, but not well balanced and not overly pleasant. Would not order another. Itโs quite likely the keg at this location isnโt up to scratch as the colour of the beer served here is different to other locations.

Draft at Sommar, Waterloo Street. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a round bubbly white head. The aroma is big passionfruit. The flavour is moderate to light sour, with a smooth, mineral, big juicy passionfruit palate. Alcoholic fruit juice and somewhat one dimensional, but drinkable in small quantities.

One-third pint, tap at Sommar Leicester. Drinking session with jjsint. A white head over a hazy golden body, spotty lacing. Rather sweet berry-fruit on the nose. Herbal hops, sweet berries and guava to the taste profile. Ends fruity, not overly sweet. Fine bodied. Pleasing to a certain degree (Leicester 11.07.2022).

Keg draught at Sommar Leiceater with Rune. Light gold hand hazy with a massive white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon curd, some vanilla. Sweet taste with fruity hops and some bitterness in the finish. Silky body with carbonation on the low side. Very much a generic hoppy pale but none the worse for it.

Draft at Sommar Solihull. Poured a a milky light yellow golden colour with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is grainy malt, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a fresh, crisp, earthy, light toffee caramel, dank, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Awesome for the ABV.
