Cloudy gold with tight white head, loads of lacing. Kept at very cold temperatures. Caramel, herbs, citrus zest, some pine bitterness. Very tasty despite freezing my mouth off.

Tap at Sommar, Waterloo St. Light cloudy gold, small white top which lasts well. Taste of the pilsner malts is very evident with a lime citrus note. Nice bitterness and carbonatation to it. Nothing wrong with it but maybe a little one dimensional.

Tap at Sommar, Waterloo St, Birmingham. Hazy orange with small white head. This one had juicy citrus, pineapple and apricot fruitiness with pine needles and bitter finish. Lovely balance to this and the best of the seven Sommar beers I have tried to date.

Tap at Sommar, Waterloo St, Brum. Hazy light gold, small creamy white head. Hoppy tropical aroma of mango, pineapple, light dankness. The latter comes through more in the flavour, with tropical zest and peppery notes. Medium bodied, light dryness. Served a bit too cold this one. Good.

Tap at Sommar, Waterloo St, Brummagem. Hazy yellow gold, small white head. I made a note it was a mango and pithy citrus aroma and taste but looks like it was passion fruit and guava. Either way the fruitiness comes through well. Medium bodied, smooth and easy drinking. Good.

Tap at Sommar, Waterloo St, Brum. Pours a cloudy reddish amber with small white top. A nice fruity raspberry comes through, decent saison base, quite grainy, light herbal and bitter finish. Good attempt at the style without surprising.
