Test vom 24.5.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,9,8,13,5,11 - 10,25

Blond color. Light vanilla and corn aroma. Very dry and too watery. Poor.

Old gold, nearly coppery; heavily carbonated to fluffy white head. Utterly malty nose, vaguely herbal. Outspoken (wet) malt. A tenth of a second I thought I was going to detect hops. And then there was just one limpid ocean of boring, utterly booooooring malt. Fully watery, flat water texture. One word sums it up: ridiculous . And then it made me burp, to add insult to injury.

Yellow with orange-amber shine; just small rim of white head. Chalk, a bit roasted nose. Grainy, malty pilsener. Quite roasted, a bit minty. Light bodied, not watery. Not bad as pilseners go, but almost nonexistent nose.

Got this in a can. Took on a metallic taste. Pleasant enough clean tasting beer - better than the average American major.

Clear orange golden color, medium lasting white head. Aroma is sweet candy sugar and hops. Sweet sugary taste, hopbitter, bit acidic. Sticky palate. This one lacks balance, it just mixes the sticky sweetness of candy sugar with dry hopbitterness of the early springhops.

Fizzy white head, mostly diminishing and fairly lacing. Clearly blond body. Yeasty aroma. Sweet-bitter initial flavour, a little bit flat. Bitter finish - averagely long. Watery texture. Lively mouthfeel. An average pilsener.

Light and clear brown color, medium frothy head. Aroma is quite weak, malty and a bit fruity raisin perhaps. I'll just copy the description of jbrus for the taste, it's quite good. Soft palate.
