Cask. Woah.... Pour was a rich dark one, with small a tan head. Roasted dark chocolate notes aroma, tinge of hops, roasted malts dominate this beer. Flavor has a slightly bitter, but incredibly smooth sweet character to it. This beer was most excellent.

Sampler from draft. Poured a hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma was a bready, yeasty, banana-note beer. Flavor is wheat, banana, touches of clove, slightly sweet. Finish is a bit yeasty, touch of citrus. Overall a pretty good Hefe.

Sampler from draft. Poured a hazy straw color with a small fluffy white head. Aroma is a bready, slightly hoppy beer. Flavor is mild, a bit thin for my liking, though it had enough of a crisp taste for me to enjoy it. Certainly one of the beers that I could suggest for someone who is just getting into the craft brew world.

From sampler. Poured a dark ruby color with a small head. Aroma is malty, with a good dried fruit character. Nice bitterness accentuated the beer enough to make this a pretty mild brew. This a pretty decent brew.

Sampled at NoVA Summer Brewfest. Finally getting around to rating this one. Poured a dark, clear orange color with a medium-to-full white head. Aroma is hoppy pines, with a subtle citrus hit to it. Flavor is a rich, well balanced one, with a rounded malt and citrus character. This was certainly one of my more favorite ones at the festival, and was quite refreshing on a roughly 90 degree day. I look forward to trying this one at the brewpub.
