Description
Elysian Brewing Company operates three locations of which Elysian Capitol Hill is the main brewery and a full production brewery – Elysian Airport Way, in the Georgetown neighborhood (since 2011). Known both for classic styles and for flexibility and innovation, Elysian has brewed over 500 different recipes since opening in 1996. While Elysian’s brewers use a variety of unusual ingredients, they are seasonally notorious for their pumpkin beers. In 2015 Elysian joined AB InBevs' family of craft brands.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours brassy gold with a slightly off-white head. Bready aroma. Med body. Flavor is yeasty/bready with some hop that seems Saaz spice. Not a lot of hop. It's fairly dry, and lightly bitter. Decent for the style.

Pour is a darker than usual gold with a large white head. Aroma is grainy vienna malt. Flavor is more dry grain then a yeasty sulfur. Not going to win any awards but it's drinkable on a hot day.

Aroma of orange, lemon. Taste has bitter hops, centennial hops, pine, citra. Palate has intense orange notes, bitter hop resin. Good.

Another of my summer IPAs, not my favorite style but tolerable. A 12 oz can from Odessa’s The Cellar, thank you my friends. A pour into my Buffalo Bayou snifter, it’s straw yellow with a moderate spread of white bubbles. I smell citrus and cut grass. A taste of grapefruit, lemon, hay and water. A pleasant diversion.

Experience by November 1st 2020.
It pours a clear gold with a finger of foam and does well with the lacing.
Smells lightly malty, lightly hoppy, some toasted malt no notes of say, corn.
Taste seems pretty clean, toasted malt with a mild sweetness, respectable level of bitterness for a Lager that isn't a Pilsner.
Medium bodied, the right amount of carbonation.
Nice Lager to have on a hot summer day.

A barely hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is some citrus hop but also some butter as well. Flavor is a bit of pineapple and coconut. It gives off a pina colada vibe. As far a hazy ipa's go this would be way down at the bottom of the barrel.

Savory and slightly vegetal elderberry nose. Cloudy amber, medium head. Fish and saffron. Medium body, easy carbonation, resinous. Very herbal, which I would like better in a saison.
